Sightseeing, wildlife viewing and sport fishing are abundant in Southeast Alaska.

All charters are custom to your desires. We can focus on the sightseeing, exploring, fishing or we can make up a combination of both.

A popular charter for 7 days 6 nights is a charter around Admiralty Island. This charter has a bit of everything, Tracy Arm, Sawyer Glacier, Brown Bear Viewing, abundant areas of wildlife viewing including Humpback Whales, Sea Lions, Dahl Porpoise, Bald Eagles, Hot Springs, secluded anchorages, the native town of Angoon, a visit to Tenakee Springs, Great Salmon, Halibut, Prawn and Crabbing along our way.

Our charters focus on your desires and dreams. All charters originate and terminate in Juneau, the capital of Alaska. Come early or stay after your charter and enjoy our capital. We have many Hotels, Bed and Breakfast, and other fine accommodations. Rent a car and explore our 40 miles of highway. Enjoy a day trip to Skagway or Glacier Bay. We can help you with your travel plans if needed.

Our charters can originate or terminate in Sitka, Hoonah, Petersburg, Wrangell, Ketchikan, or Craig. A relocation fee to cove the fuel to relocate Alaskan Star may apply.

We offer an inside passage charter at the beginning and end of the season with a 50% discount. This charter is a two week charter for the price of one week, bare boat with skipper or all inclusive. This charter winds through the inside passage from Juneau to Bellingham, Washington. We will have plenty of time to enjoy our Port of Call, fishing, prawns and crabbing.

If you’re a sport fishing enthusiast, we offer to tow our sport fishing boat along for an additional fee. The fishing boat is a Sea Sport Navigator 2700 all set up for fishing.

Alaskan Star charters are based on 4 to 5 hours of cruising per day at 10 knots. She burns 15 gallons an hour at this speed. Her top speed is 18 knots and she is designed to cruise at 13 to 15 knots with the gallons per hour running from 30 to 40 per hour.

If your charter is an all inclusive charter and you want us to travel at a speed higher that 10 knots, a fuel surcharge may be assed.
